Barbara J. Walker

Barbara Jean Walker, 72, of Stafford County passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the home of her daughter in King George surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Walker had worked for Mary Washington Hospital for 30 years. She loved baking and spending time working in her garden.

Survivors include her daughters, Karla Lanham (Robert) and Sharon Herron (Rick); grandchildren Jessica Proffitt, Josh Herron, Danielle Lloyd, Zachary Lloyd, Nathan Lanham and Madison Lanham; great-grandchildren Tucker and Jase Proffitt; niece Debbie Young; and nephews Wayne and Tommy Young. She was preceded in death by her husband C.W. Walker, Jr; sister Thelma Young; and her brother, Alger Pugh.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, March 24 in Oak Hill Cemetery.
