Dennis Blake

Dennis Ray ?Red? Blake, 53, of Fredericksburg passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 10, 2007.
He was a lifelong resident of Fredericksburg and a self-employed contractor. Mr. Blake was an avid Redskin fan.
Survivors include his children, Courtney Carlson and her husband, Chris, Matthew Blake and his girlfriend, Amy Aho, and Megan Blake all of Fredericksburg; three grandchildren, Jason, Natalie and Landen; his mother, Dorothy Grinnan Blake of Fredericksburg; a brother, Roger Lee Blake and his wife, Debbie, of Fredericksburg; his nieces Katie and Kendall Blake; his fiancé, Judy Dubler and her children, Ashley and Shayna Dubler of Springfield; and his ?buddy?, Ace. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Charles Blake.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with Mr. Tommy Satterwhite officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Barry Surles, Gary Revercomb, Larry Revercomb, Reg Wayland, Skippy Bryant, Claude Lupton, Sam Newman, and Jason Johncox.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 at the funeral home.
