Earleane D. Kurz, 78, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

Mrs. Kurz was the widow of Robert Kurz and was a member of Canaan Faith Church of God. She was a retired nurse from Mary Washington Hospital.

Survivors include her sister, Hazel Bowler of Stafford; nephews Donald Bowler (Cindy), William Bowler (Susan), Robert Bowler (Deborah); and several great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother Fred Duerson.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17 Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Canaan Faith Church of God 1470 Forbes St., Fredericksburg, VA 22405.

    My deep and heartfelt sympathy to Hazel and family. I loved Earlene so much through the years and only learned of her illness at Bobby’s funeral when I asked about her absence. She was a sweet, gentle and beautiful lady whom I grieve along with you.
