Lewis Seay

Arthur Lewis Seay, 85, of Spotsylvania County, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2016.Mr. Seay was a US Army Veteran.He is survived by his wife, Thelma Seay; and daughter Denise Hamlett-Brooks (Doyle); granddaughter, Melissa Hamlett; sisters Virgie Knight (Ralph) and Lucille Gatewood (Leroy); brother Thomas Seay; best friend David Collins; numerous nieces and nephews; and grand-dog Barney. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Alsop, Barbara Edenton and Virginia Limbrick and brothers William and Johnny Seay.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 25 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.A service will be held at noon on Friday, February 26 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
