What a shock to see this obit about Paul’s passing. I taught him at Stafford High School [now Drew Middle] in the late 60s and reconnected with him in 2001 at the Free Lance-Star. I always liked Paul. He was individualistic, very quiet but we had good conversation between us always.
My condolences to his sisters, nieces and nephews. I will miss him, too!

Prayers are for Paul’s family. May our Lord be with you at this time. I can remember Paul from our classes from Elementary through SHS, and riding the school bus from Brooke to our homes after school. May you rest in peace Paul. Love Brenda Lane.

Paul held a large place in my heart growing up. I still remember Alicia and I sneaking into his room to read his Mad magazines. What fun we had building hay forts in the barn and by the creek. One summer he had a little 2 man boat and would take Alicia and I out to the point to swim. Such wonderful times.

It’s crazy but I thought I spotted him in a store a couple days ago.
Praying that you Rest In Peace my friend.

Paul was such a kind hearted person that my son and I both were blessed to have in our lives. From the very first time I met him he always made us feel special. And one of the last times he spoke with Trevor- he hadn’t been feeling the greatest and he looked over at him and said “Trevor my man- you’ve gotten so tall and your so handsome- what am I gonna do with you buddy”. Those words will be forever be in my mind and heart. We will miss you Paul – but we will cherish every memory we have. We <3 you …. Rest in peace…. Love, Sharon and Trev….
