Randy Wood

Randolph "Randy" Lee Wood, 60, of Stafford County, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014.

Mr. Wood was born in 1954. He was a lifetime house painter, loved racing and was a member of Eagles Lodge 4123. He enjoyed playing chess and was an avid Redskins and Washington Nationals fan.Survivors include his wife, Delores "Suzie" Walsh; daughters Ashley Wood and Krystal Campbell; sisters Terry "Cricket" Howdershelt and Sheila Jones; grandchildren Joseph Campbell and Tucker McCullen; nieces Sheena Barnes and Robyn Howdershelt; nephews Shawn and Matthew Howdershelt; cousin Wayne Kellam, Sr.; loving friends Larry Tennison, Mickey Thacker and Kim Stricklin; and two Boston terriers Lucy and Bogart.He was preceded in death by his father, James Wood; his mother, Josephine Jones; and his brother, James "Punky" Wood.A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the grandchildren's educational fund at any Union Bank.
