Raymond P. Allison

Raymond P. ?Ray? Allison, 75, of Fredericksburg died Friday, September 15, 2006 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was born in Bluefield, W. VA. and a graduate of West Virginia University. He retired from the U.S. Forest Service with 35 years of service. He was also a private pilot for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife Pam of 39 years; nieces Susan, Diane, and Virginia and his nephew Robert. Also surviving are brother-in-law Paul Olsen; cousins Jane Scott of Salem and Helen Lyne of Rochester, NY and numerous grandnieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lofton and Virginia Phillips Allison; sister, Betty Allison Olsen and stepmother, Pearl Allison.

A funeral will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, September 20 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial will be private.
