Ruth Henderson

Ruth Annette Henderson, 43, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Ms. Henderson will always be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was a dedicated and loyal fan to the Washington Redskins. She served in the U.S. Navy, and currently worked for Compass Group in the food service industry.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn F. Cox; and step-father, Charles R. Bailey.

Survivors include her daughter, Tabitha Collins and her husband, Joseph; her son, Orin Henderson, Jr.; her mother, Joyce Bailey; brothers, Glenn Cox and his wife, Carmen, Walter Cox and his wife, Deanna, Charles R. \"Chuck\" Bailey, and Charles W. \"Billy\" Bailey; two grandchildren, Jasmine Collins and Xander Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the funeral home.
