I am so saddened to learn of Teddy’s passing. Our family shopped at W.D. Jones & Brothers grocery when I was a child. My Uncle Ogle Jones also worked there. My fondest memory was of Teddy (which he was called at that time) asking me to spell “Passapatanzy” where I lived, and telling me that cat was spelled “dog” and dog was spelled “cat”. I loved his attention and his gentle spirit. I would see Teddy many times in my adulthood, and that gentle spirit was always there as he asked about my parents. He and my daddy will be greeters together in Heaven. A very good soul has gone home to be with the Lord, and he will be missed on this earth.
