Anita Louise Tribuzio Bowyer, 69, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away at 3:37 a.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017.
Anita was born July 21, 1947 in the Bronx, New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Arthur and Estelle Tribuzio. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Anita is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Coy Bowyer; daughter Linda Sue Knecht and husband John; two sons, James Bowyer Jr. and wife Julie of Brandy Station, VA and Michael Bowyer of Unionville, VA; and stepdaughter Beverly Ann Doering and husband Rusty of Ocala, WA. She is also survived by Ana Bowyer of Centerville, VA who is like a daughter to her; two brothers, Peter Tribuzio and wife Rossana of Port St. Lucie, FL and Arthur Tribuzio and wife Emmy of Sunshine, FL; and nine grandchildren, Leah Hauenstein, Regan Knecht, Tanner Knecht, Coy Bowyer III, Rachel Bowyer, Lander Bowyer, Tyler Bowyer, Linzey Bowyer, and Tucker Bowyer.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 14 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at noon Saturday, April 15 at the funeral home. There will be no interment as cremation will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the National Cancer Research Center and Wounded Warrior Project.

I have so many memories all of which I will cherish forever. I was blessed to be her daughter in law and be loved by her. My heart is broken for our family who has lost this truly amazing woman. I love you Mom!
