Leslie Thomas Fleming



Leslie Thomas Fleming, 90, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at his home on his birthday.

Mr. Fleming was a graduate of Falmouth High School. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Fleming worked for the FMC plant after retiring from the federal government at Quantico. He later retired from the Manheim Auto Auction. Mr. Fleming had been a scoutmaster for Troop 193. He liked fishing, golfing, riding to the mountains and trips to Charles Town. He never met a stranger and always looked forward to Dyllon coming home from fishing to see what he had caught.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Clarice Fleming; one daughter, Linda Barlow; granddaughter Tracee Kincer; great-grandson Dyllon Kincer; five siblings, Howard Fleming, Anna Granninger, Charles Fleming (Karen), Mamie Payne, Ronnie Fleming (Millie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at noon Wednesday, July 12 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
