Maryellen “Dallas” Hertz, 73 of Fredericksburg received her angel wings in heaven on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
Dallas worked for many years at Costco in Fredericksburg and was the first smiling face you would see entering Costco. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach, playing bingo and baking for her family and friends.
Dallas was preceded in death by her husband Bob Hertz; and grandson Jacob Lettner.
Survivors include her three children, Paul Hertz (Jennifer), Cindy Harris (David) and Lori Hertz (James); two grandchildren Chris Hale and Madison Lettner; and two sisters, Lynn and Carol.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
Memorials may be made to Fredericksburg Area Food Bank.

Cindy, Lori, I am so sorry to have heard about the passing of your mother, she was a very kind and sweet lady. I remember her coming to visit me when my family lived on Pratt Street over in Stafford County. She will be greatly missed, My thoughts and Prayers are with each and everyone of the Hertz family.
