James E. Waddell, 48, of Spotsylvania County passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 due to a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Waddell was a meat cutter for Giant Foods.
Survivors include his companion Katrinea Erb; his children, Jessi Waddell and James Waddell; grandson Michael James Farmer; parents James and Cecil Waddell; sister Cheryl Waddell; mother of his children, Vicki Hawley; nephew Shane Cousineau; nieces Shelby Cousineau and Courtney Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

I've only had the joy of knowing Jimmy thru work. He's a VERY kind and gentle spirit WHO Will be greatly MISSED. My heart and prayers goes out to Jimmy's family

Over 30 years of knowing you I'll always cherish the Birchdale years AKA Bradford Dr memories man we had some good times back in the day thoughts and prayers to all your family & countless brothers and sisters until we meet again

My heart aches for the Waddell family. i had bout 3 or 4 classes with him at Gar- Field higj school,Was a true friend who always had a smile on his face that lit up the classroom. He will be sadly missed and always remembered, dave me a spot at the lunch table Jimmy. ill c u on the othet side kid. Truly blessed to have known you
