Joseph “Joe” Besceglia, 48, of Fredericksburg, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Joe worked for Pro Trucks in Stafford County and was well-known in the area for customizing trucks and cars. He was an avid fisherman and car enthusiast. Joe built motorcycles, enjoyed hiking and playing disc golf. He loved the beach and his dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Besceglia; his mother, Joan Besceglia; two brothers, Rob Besceglia and Vincent Besceglia; sister-in-law Marcie Perchinsky and her son Riley; brother-in-law Tom Perchinsky; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Besceglia.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online at staffordfoodsecurity.org. This organization supports students in need of nourishing meals in Stafford County.
