Diane L. Randall

Diane L. Randall, 72, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. A radiant soul whose kindness and free spirit touched countless lives.

Diane’s spirit of giving knew no bounds. She selflessly devoted her time and energy to making a difference in the lives of others, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and empathy that will endure for generations to come.

She is survived by her partner, George Ambrose; son Christopher Batton (Deanna); granddaughters Amber Bothum (Scott) and Sarah Batton and their respective families; and sister Debra Anders. In addition to immediate family, Diane leaves behind a vast network of extended family and dear friends to cherish her memory.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Jones and Frank Randall.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. A repass will be held immediately following at Vinny’s Italian Grill & Pizzeria, Leavells Road. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 1 in Oak Hill Cemetery.
