Gerald T. “Joey” McCloud

Gerald T. “Joey” McCloud, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on May 28, 1960 in Washington, DC, he went home to Alexandria, Virginia. Later his family moved to Clinton, Maryland and eventually to Spotsylvania.

Survivors include his son, Gerald T. McCloud, Jr. (Lisa); grandchildren Shane, Wyatt, Isobel, and Jackson; brothers and sisters Jim McCloud (Sue), Susan DeMailo (Phil), Gary McCloud (Terrie) and Debbie Tulloch; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert and Callie McCracken McCloud; and his daughter, Amanda.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Marcos Castillo and VITAS Hospice for the care and concern shown to their beloved Gerald. They would also like to thank Micah Ecumenical Ministries for their kind support over the years by doing God’s work here on earth.

All services will be held privately.
