Spending time with Sylvia was a true pleasure.
Survivors include her children, Steve Mason (April), Julie Kishpaugh (Warren) and Paula Thurston (Jeff); 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister Cynthia Wright (Otto) and their four children; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Mason.

As a nurse, I knew Sylvia from Dr. Rice's office, and I was the nurse that took care of her grandson, Tristan. I will always remember her with that beautiful smile on her face, her compassion for her patients friends and family.
May you all find Comfort in your memories of Sylvia.
Sending my sympathy and prayers . Sylvia will be missed by many.

I have known Sylvia and her family for as long as I can remember, and I cannot imagine this world without her. She was always there for me and everyone else anytime she was needed. I always knew she was there, even if we hadn't talked in awhile. My heart is broken. May God bless Julie, Paula, Steve, and all their loved ones. Thank you, Jennifer, for taking such good care of your Meemaw!

To Donna and Family. I will missed Ms. Sylvia so much because she was always there for me and my kids, Madison and Chevelle. I could always call her if I needed help with Maddie or for her to keep an eye on her. Ms. Sylvia was an amazing Mother, Grandmother and a friend to everyone in the neighborhood at Greenbrier Court. I am so glad I could be of some comfort to her during her last moment. May God be with you all through this rough and sad time.
