Mr. Siegmund was my Physics and AP English teacher back in the early 90's. He had a profound influence on me as a student and a person; he changed the way I understood books and the world. As a teacher now myself, I can only aspire to open some of the same doors and windows for my students as he did for so many of his students. Thank you, Mr. Siegmund, for those precious gifts.

I had Mr Siegmund in 1990 for English. He was one of my favorite teachers. He expected a lot from his students and pushed them to meet those expectations. I also had the pleasure to teach Heidi years later. My payers and condolences go out to your family during this difficult time.

Dear Mrs. Siegmund, I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn't know your husband personally, I know he must have been amazing to have been with you. I just read "Sheep in a Jeep" to my 1 year old twins yesterday and wrote a note for my oldest's lunchbox today: "Good luck on your spelling test! You're smart. You're well-prepared and you can do this." You are in my thoughts often and I will be praying for peace and comfort.
