Obituary

Jacqueline Kay Carnahan, 54, of Fredericksburg went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Carnahan was a native of Stafford County and daughter of the late Durwood and Virginia Franklin. She was a 1980 graduate of Stafford High School and worked for several years at Fredericksburg Christian School. Mrs. Carnahan was a devoted pastor’s wife who served with her husband at Gordon Road Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother and nana.


Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Thomas E. Carnahan, children Tim Carnahan (Cindy), Kendra Hanrahan (Jesse), Joshua Carnahan (Amber) and Michael Carnahan; grandchildren Kelsey, Robbie, Hallie Rose, Julia, Levi, Randy, Noah and Zac; sister Gaye Shelton (Frank); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelsey Carnahan.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 11 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Riverside First Church of God. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
